Terms and Conditions

1. Boss Training Ltd provides an online course in asbestos awareness training. Boss Training Ltd is a UKATA (United Kingdom Asbestos Training Association) member.
2. The UKATA registered asbestos awareness certificate issued is valid for one year. The certificate will display the expiry date upon it. A renewal alert will be sent by email prior to the expiration date.
3. Once the user has logged on this constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions and no refunds can be issued.
4. Payment for single licences must be made by credit/debit card. Anyone wishing to purchase multiple licences can do so. Payment will also be by credit/debit card. However, we may also accept payment via BACS or other electronic transfer for certain customers who already have credit account facilities with us.
5. Once payment has been received your log-in details will be issued immediately via email.
6. All material on the e-learning course complies with the Control of Asbestos Regulations (2012). All course content will be correct at the time of use and will be updated accordingly when legislation and guidance changes.
7. The content of the course including the ‘boss’ logo remains the property of Boss Training Ltd and may not be copied or distributed. The course may not be sold on to any third party.
8. No personal information will be passed to any other parties. Any information submitted upon completion of the course will be securely kept by Boss Training Ltd in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
9. All certificates will be issued electronically upon successful completion of the course. Each certificate has an individual reference number for verification purposes. Copy certificates can be made available but we reserve the right to charge an administration fee for these.

Boss Training Ltd are committed to ensuring adequate delivery of all our services including e-learning and will deal reasonably and appropriately with all queries relating to our e-learning courses.

If technical problems stop you from accessing the content you have purchased, our support team will try to help you resolve the problem. You are required to have a functioning internet connection and equipment to enable you to view the course delivered over the internet. Providing you have the required connection and equipment, you will receive a full refund for all unused content purchased if we are unable to resolve the problem with you. Used content is that for which a course certificate has been issued.

The Boss Training Limited refund policy complies with the EU Distance Selling Directive (2000) and is part of UK law under the Consumer Protection Regulations (2000) (as amended) that relate to distance selling. The law came into force in the year 2000 and applies to all UK based transactions where the consumer does not meet the vendor. These regulations do not govern contracts between businesses.

All access to the e-learning website is governed by a unique username and password. The username and password is part of a system which protects the security of the resource and enables Boss Training Limited and our affiliates to monitor usage by any individual. When a refund request is received, Boss Training Limited reserve the right to track the usage by an individual (through his/her username and password) of the following:

• Specific pages viewed
• Frequency of use
• Time period of use
• Certificates issued

No refund will be granted if Boss Training Limited has reason to believe that an individual has viewed any of the information they have purchased.

Boss Training Limited reserves the right to charge a handling fee (15% of the original fee).

Any authorised refunds will be processed by Boss Training Limited within 30 days.
